MST is supported on Windows only. MacOS does not provide support for this feature.

What is MST?

MST (Multi-Stream Transport) is a DisplayPort feature that transmits multiple video and audio signals through a single cable, making it ideal for connecting multiple monitors using just one output port from the source.

Only USB-C Input 4 supports MST functionality, enabling two HDMI outputs, each with a resolution of 4K@30.

How to enable MST?

Step 1: Log in to the WebUI

  1. Connect your PC to the Ethernet port of your device.

  2. Open a web browser and enter the device's IP address.

  3. Log in (default password: admin).

Step 2: Enable MST

  1. Navigate to the General Settings tab.

  2. Click the USB-C MST option and turn it ON.

Alternatively, you can use API commands to switch modes: MST Mode (Multi-Stream Transport): SET USBC4_DM MST SST Mode (Single Stream Transport): SET USBC4_DM SST

Only USB-C Input 4 supports MST functionality. MST is disabled by default. When enabled, you must disable either USB-C Input 3 or HDMI Input 2.
