MX-1007-HYB: NHD Firmware Update

  1. Connection diagram

Connect the control PC and the following ports: NHD 500 IN 10, NHD 500 OUT 7, and the Ethernet port on the MX-1007-HYB, to the same switch as shown in the image below.

  1. Open the Web UI

Set your computer's IP address to be in the same range as the matrix to establish proper communication.

  1. Admin Login

Log in with administrator credentials to gain access to the required settings.

  1. Navigate to General Settings and AV Configuration

Select INPUT 10 to check the IP address of the NHD 500 IN card. In this example, the IP address is 192.168.0.99. This IP address will be used to log into the NHD 500 IN card's web interface for firmware updates.

Select OUTPUT 7 to check the IP address of the NHD 500 OUT card. In this example, the IP address is 192.168.0.101. This IP address will be used to log in to the NHD 500 OUT card’s web interface for firmware updating.

  1. Update NHD 500 IN card

Open a browser and enter the NHD 500 IN card’s IP address followed by /settings.html in the address bar.

Credentials for login are: admin/admin.

  1. After entering the NHD 500 IN card's web interface, refer to the picture below.

  1. Firmware update

Click "Update Firmware" and select the firmware file "NHD-500-RX-HYB-vx.x.x.bin" by clicking "Choose File," then click "Open." Next, click "Upload" to begin the update process.

Note: After clicking "Upload," please wait for 3-5 minutes.

  1. Find the corresponding files for the firmware update

  1. Wait until the update is complete.
