Touch App is a free application for iPad and Android that lets you control your NetworkHD system. The app connects to the CTL-Pro controller, which forwards commands to endpoints.

Before you begin

  1. Use CTL-Pro: The app requires a CTL-Pro controller.

  2. Configure NetworkHD: The NetworkHD system must be configured using the controller's WebUI before using the app.

  3. Network settings: Ensure your device is on the same network range as the CTL-Pro before opening the app. Navigate to your device's network settings and set the correct IP address.

Connect the app to the CTL-Pro

When you first open the app, it will attempt to access the CTL-Pro on its default IP address 169.254.1.1. If you are using a different IP address, follow these steps:

  1. Open the app settings and click Advanced Settings.

  2. Enter the default password admin.

  3. Go to Change NHD-CTL IP Address and enter your CTL-Pro IP address.

  4. Click Connect.

Once connected, the app will display receivers grouped by the previously configured zones. Below, you’ll see the transmitters, each showing a preview stream from the input device.

Assign Sources to Displays

If you have multiple configurations in a single zone (e.g., Video Wall and Multiview in the same room), use the white arrows on the sides of the screen to scroll through the configurations.

Single Display
  • Drag and drop a source from the list onto the display.

  • To assign a source to all displays, drag and drop the source onto the To All Screens button.

Video Wall

The Video Wall layouts are displayed on the right side.

  1. Choose a layout from the list.

  2. Drag and drop sources onto the desired displays.

Multiview

The Multiview layouts are displayed on the right side.

  1. Choose a layout from the list.

  2. Drag and drop sources onto the desired displays.

More Options

Save Presets

To save your encoder/decoder connections, use the Save button at the bottom of the screen. This option allows you to save the current configuration to one of the preset buttons.

Display Control
Access Advanced Settings
  1. Click the settings button in the upper right corner.

  2. Choose Advanced Settings.

  3. Use the default password admin.

Set External App Shortcut

The Set External App option allows you to create a shortcut that opens an external app from within the Touch App.

  1. Enable the Set External App option.

  2. Set the external app name.

  3. Enter the path to the app (for the Companion Control App, enter companion://).
